Group Mentorship is the third stage of the Academy's Training Pathway, providing ongoing clinical development after completing Classical Chinese Herbalism, or the previous Advanced Application programme.
Mentorship supports the continued development and refinement of what has been learned through clinical practice. Practitioners may continue in Mentorship from year to year, or return after a break.
Continuing Your Development
Clinical judgement develops through practice and over time. As knowledge is applied to different patients and clinical situations, new questions arise and understanding continues to develop.
Group Mentorship provides ongoing guidance, dialogue and feedback through:
live online classes
discussion of students' clinical cases
questions arising from clinical practice
ongoing support through the private Group Forum
learning alongside practitioners who share the same clinical approach
The programme also provides opportunities to explore aspects of practitioner development beyond herbal medicine.
Just as importantly, continuing to learn with like-minded practitioners brings connection, enjoyment and a sense of belonging to our professional lives.
Joining Group Mentorship
Group Mentorship is available by invitation to practitioners who have completed the relevant Academy training.
