Founded by Marina Danilova, the Academy of Holistic Healing Arts provides professional education and ongoing development for Chinese medicine practitioners.
The Academy’s Values
Depth over more learning
True understanding develops over time, through revisiting, applying, challenging and refining our knowledge, and allowing deeper insight to develop.
Support and mentorship
Many aspects of our medicine are difficult to grasp from lectures alone. They develop through dialogue, guidance and feedback.
Learning how to see
Rather than relying on memorised formulas or protocols, we return to the foundations that teach us how to think and to see life and the body as a whole.
Connection and enjoyment
Chinese medicine is far from uniform, and following one’s chosen path may feel lonely. A community of like-minded practitioners brings a sense of belonging, connection and enjoyment to our professional lives.
Training Pathway
The Academy offers a progressive training pathway for practitioners already qualified in a modality of Chinese or East Asian medicine who wish to learn a systematic and elegant approach to Chinese herbal medicine.
Each stage builds on the previous one, while remaining a valuable area of study in its own right. Students may progress as far through the pathway as they wish.
The training can be taken before, during, after, or independently of other training in Chinese herbal medicine.
