GI360 Complete Stool Test

A comprehensive assessment of your gut health

Who Should Consider the GI360?

If you’ve been struggling with gut symptoms and feel like you don’t have clear answers, this test may be right for you.

The GI360 can help if you experience:

  • Persistent bloating, discomfort, or irregular bowels

  • Symptoms that continue even when standard tests are “normal”

  • Gut changes after food poisoning or infection

  • Suspected IBS or IBD (alongside GP or specialist care)

  • Reflux or heartburn that hasn’t improved with simple strategies

  • Fatigue, skin issues, or low mood that may be linked to the gut

  • Concerns about long-term resilience and immune health

You don’t need to decide on your own whether this is the right test — that’s something we’ll confirm together in your consultation. I’ll guide you through the options so you feel confident about the next step.

Why Choose the GI360?

Standard stool tests mainly look for infections. The GI360 goes much further — assessing not just “what’s wrong” but also how your gut is functioning day to day.

It provides insight into:

  • Gut bacteria balance — whether your microbiome is diverse and resilient, or tipped into dysbiosis.

  • Digestive strength — are you breaking down food properly and absorbing nutrients?

  • Inflammation — are there early warning signs of irritation or stress in the gut lining?

  • Pathogens and parasites — could infections be contributing to your symptoms?

  • Protective factors — such as butyrate-producing and mucosal-supportive bacteria that help keep the gut barrier strong.

This broader view allows us to create a targeted, personalised plan rather than a trial-and-error approach.

How the Test Works

  • At-home collection — you’ll receive a simple kit with everything you need. Ideally you collect three stool samples over 1–3 days. If that isn’t possible, a one-day option is available.

  • Turnaround — results are usually ready in about 15 days.

  • Consultation — once your results arrive, we’ll meet to go through the findings and create a step-by-step plan.

  • Follow-up — in many cases, only focused re-testing is needed to confirm progress, saving time and cost.

Preparing for the Test

To make sure your results are accurate, you’ll need to:

  • Wait 2 weeks after finishing antibiotics, antifungals, antiparasitics, PPIs or probiotics.

  • Stop 2 days before testing: aspirin, NSAIDs, digestive enzymes, laxatives, or binders like activated charcoal.

  • Avoid collection if you have active bleeding (haemorrhoids or menstruation).

  • Wait 4 weeks after a colonoscopy or barium enema.

  • Prevent urine or water contamination.

You’ll also freeze one vial from your final collection day before shipping.
